« Mon moyen d’expression préféré est le modelage à la main. Cette technique m’intéresse par sa diversité et le contrôle maximal qu’elle offre sur la forme créée. La céramique est pour moi un cosmos de possibilités d’expression artistique. C’est une expérimentation sans fin, avec chaque fois un résultat imprévisible.

Chaque objet que je crée naît de la vie. C’est une émotion vécue, matérialisée dans l’argile.

Et mon objectif principal en tant qu’artiste est de faire en sorte que le·la spectateur·rice s’arrête, réfléchisse, se projette — qu’il·elle adhère ou conteste.

Le véritable défi, c’est de créer une œuvre dans laquelle, à travers la forme, la couleur, la narration ou même l’ombre, chacun·e puisse se reconnecter à ses propres moments vécus, et peut-être, les revivre.

Témoignage

I have been a resident at the Bruckner Foundation for the last three years. I have created several projects here which have participated in many European exhibitions and won prizes. Fondation Bruckner is not only a stunningly spacious space filled with air and light, but also a professionally organized working atelier. However, most important and valuable of all is the amazing creative atmosphere. Meeting other artists allows one to exchange experiences, get inspiration and energy, peek into the work process and witness the creation of amazing projects. All residents work in different styles and use different techniques; but what we all have in common is a passion for this art form. — Natalia Abramishvili
